On-line blood donor service

KARACHI: Addressing a press conference on behalf of e-taleem.com at the Karachi Press Club on Friday, Faisal Anwar, K M Hussain, Haleem Sharar and Javed Hanif announced voluntary on-line blood donor service.
They said that they were providing a platform, which created a link between the people who were in need of blood and the people who wished to donate blood. They pointed out that the service was a part of eTaleem.com mission and this was absolutely free and the only one of its kind in the world.
It was pointed out that the service was equipped with database with highly organised search facilities whereby one might search for a blood donor in one's area, with a particular blood group. The service, they added provided a list of all those who desired to become volunteer blood donors to an arrangements to donate blood and get in touch with those who were in need of blood. The aim was to motivate people to donate blood voluntarily and to make people aware of safe blood transfusion.
